Stryker Stinger TDL
« on: February 25, 2010, 11:24:00 AM »
I have ordered a new Stryker Stinger 3 piece take down long bow from Rick. He was a great help with picking options and showing the different bows he makes. I ordered a sixty inch  bow that should draw 52@ 26 cocobola riser and zebra limbs. he said he usually gets them withing +/- 1-2 lbs. I didn't want it under 50 but not over 54 at my draw. All the bows I looked at were beautifull pieces of art. and they shoot so smmmooooooottthhh. I was so excited I didn't even remember the wood combination I got I had to look at the receipt. Impatiantly waiting now, like a kid at Christmas.

All the ones I looked at were lookers. fortunatly I don't have a problem with any of my bows or shot guns getting a few battle scars, I feel that it adds to the beauty of the weapon showing that it is completely functional as well as nice to look at.

I also have 2 stingers. A 1 piece and a take down. They are as smooth as any bow I've ever shot and better than most. I'm sure you'll love it. I've got photos of my takedown on here in an old post. Do a search and you should find them.
Good luck;
Bob

Rick makes a nice bow there. He was in Vermont last winter at the outdoor show and he let me shoot one. Three arrows one RH. It was fun.    :D

I ordered a bow from Rick and called him back and told him to hold off and I would come to his shop and shoot some of his bows.

  After I shot them all I was realy in a pickle and didn't know which one I wanted. I ended up ordering the slapstick and it should be in a week or so. Man I can't wait! Rick makes a sweet bow for sure.
 Gonna order me a stinger next after the wife settles down over this one, LOL.
