Lets see some Macassar pics please
«

Well I'm about to finalize my wood choices for my 2pc Buff bow and I'd like to see some other options. I like a wood that is natural camo like the flat cut Zebrawood on my VoodooStik below. Right now I'm thinking Zebrawood and Macassar Ebony, but would like to see some other options.
Thanks,
Ken

Hey, that looks like my new bow. I would send you a picture of my new Kanati but I think you have already seen it.

I'd really like to see how the Macassar looks on some limbs. So if you got some pics please let me see them.
thanks,
Ken

Macassar, and osage. The grain is subtle, but more pronounced than the picture shows.

Mark, is that timber rattler on the limbs? I thought about adding skins if the Zebrawood doesn't turn out the way I want.

Kenneth.
They are timber rattler, (or canebrake)skins.
We are "blessed" with quite a few here in SC.

Thanks for the pics and the link to the other thread. I'm definitely gonna go with a Macassar and Zebrawood combo for my 2pc.!!!
Mark, I used to kill a bunch of timbers back in WV. I've killed yellow and black. I wish I would've kept the skins. Maybe I'll try to track some down once I get to NC.
