For those of you that wish to get away from the squeeze on nocking point. Here is what I have done over the years. When H.Hill taught me how to make a flemish string, which I will cover for you'all a little later. The setting of the nocking point was needed. I used un-waxed dental floss. Putting just a very small amount of fletching glue where I wanted to put my point. I wrapped the floss several times around forming a small bead, just large enough to not allow the nock of the arrow to slide down the string.(I prefer to nock my arrow over the nocking point) This type of nocking point will not slide and will last a long time. Also, you may wish to turn the string around and restring the bow and place on another nocking point. This could come in handy,so should your nocking point come loose for some reason, while target shooting or out hunting.I have found that this type nocking point will not tear up you shooting glove tips, like the metal squeeze on kind.Jerry Hill.........
