Huntin' Georgia with RC
« on: March 04, 2010, 08:28:00 PM »
Well last week, my buddy Todd and I finally got down to hunt with Robert on the St Jude's hunt he donated. Heck of a good time. We made a couple of new friends and while the pigs were a little hard to find we still got it a good amount of shooting. Leaves, bottles, cans, logs, pine cones, you name it we shot at it. Robert and his friend Chris really treated us good and worked hard to find pigs for us. I can't say how much we enjoyed hunting and shooting with them.
Thanks again for everything Robert and Chris.
p.s. I wouldn't advise anybody to bet against these guys shooting.
Lokking forward to doing it again.

Its amazing how fellers that have never met can enjoy such time together when Stickbows are involved. Dan and Tod were a joy to share a campfire with and Tod is a heck of a good cook.
The pigs were hard to find and in all we only had three stalks. Once I thought Tod was gonna gaff a big red sow but the wind did the South ga. shuffle and the pork scattered. I too look forward to sharing another campfire with the fellows and I thank them for the donation to St. Judes. God will surely Bless them for it.
A good point to make is they can hunt for a year down here now for just the price of gas.

Below are a few pics I took from our hunt. RC

Congrats on the swamp adventure Daniel and Todd. Fair warning....It's addictive!!!!!!!!!!

That powerline pole looks familiar.  Is that on Ocmulgee WMA?

Love those Georgia woods, reminds me alot of here in East Texas.

Man that's cool.  Maybe someday I'll be lucky enough to get down there.

There something *special* about PORK + Georgia + Stick 'n' String + Broadheads = ???

Maybe one day I can solve that equation!

Congrats on a great hunt....don't always have to kill something to have a good time. Good people, campfires and trad bows....nuff said.

RC and Dan....thanks for your generous donations for the kids.
