What shaft size do i need
« on: March 09, 2010, 08:36:00 PM »
i took two deer with a recurve two years ago, and haven't really hunted with a trad bow since. I have a martin rebel recurve 45 pounds@26 inch draw length and a bear montana longbow 50lb@26 inch draw length. any suggestions for arrow spine size? i would prefer to shoot a 100-125 grain head as they are most easy to find.

thanks

50-55 woodies will work for both if your're using dacron strings.  Bump it five pounds if you're using ff strings.

Orion has it and use a 160gr head for effect!
