I always pee in the neighbors scrapes. That's called defensive bowhunting 101. I also make lots of rubs on the opposite side of their farm from mine. Is that wrong?

I've never even thought about it.  Lack of imagination I guess  ;)

I pee in everyone I can.   Many have been visited by bucks the next time I go by them.   I think it kind of pisses of bucks when they smell the scrape when they get by them, and they really work them over.

MMM just a thought, if it works, why not pee on your boots when you leave the PU and walk to your stand.  Just a thought.

Well i urinated in the corner of a bar once.

The only thing that came to it were the bouncers.

Does that count  :biglaugh:    :biglaugh:

Ive done it for years, Ive watched small scrapes turn into very large scrapes after doing it.  Ive watched scrapes pop up shortly after peeing at a specific location as well.  Remember though if you are trying to create a scrape this way to pick a location that makes sense!! (soft soil, near a scrape line or trail, clean it down to dirt, licking branch overhead etc..)  I also pee out of treestands and have never had an adverse reaction.  Your mileage may vary obviously.
Hunt fair, hunt hard, no regrets.

Yes, all the time.  Great results verified by game cameras.  Give it a try and see.

Boy I would have never thought this would work,it just seems backwards to me. Now I'm not a fanatic about scent control but I have always watched were I pee.  I have never hunted whitetail or over a scapes so thats why it just seems backwards to me but with the results you all claim I guess I just got educated.

Knew an old guy that had a BUNCH of big bow killed racks hangin on his barn wall. He said he had killed many of them during the rut, sitting all day in the stand, drinking lots of coffee and peeing off his stand whenever he could muster up enough. He was convinced the deer heard it hit the dry leaves and it sounded like another buck and they weren't frightened at all by the smell (though he was adamant about hunting the wind). This was long before the popularity of scent control, calls, mock scrapes, scents etc. His barn wall was proof enough for me not to be too concerned about where I peed. Sounds crazy, but hard to argue with the results.

OK since you asked.....

I usually carry a bottle into my stand/blind and use it to pee in. While I am walking out if there is a scrape nearby, I do freshen the scrap with a stick and pour the pee in it.

Lol, funny!! As for myself I have tried It a few different times. The 1st time It didn't pan out too well. A fairly decent 3.5 year old damn near jumped out of his skin after he smelled the ground where I peed. That was 15 years ago and I didn't try It again till last year. I peed In a few scrapes that other bucks made, never did I see them worked up. Maybe these scrapes weren't primary scrapes either. So far It hasn't proved anything positive to me yet but I may try It again. I think If your going to do It right you should have rubbers on your feet and practice the best scent control you can by not touching anything In the area you pee In. That way you know for sure he Isn't spooking from something else other then your pee.

Dan Quillian peed out of his stands all the time, and was convinced the sound of it attracted bucks. He started doing it after leaving his stand to pee in a creek, and looking up to see a big 10 point staring at him- with his bow out of reach, of course.
