kids longbow Suggestions
« on: March 14, 2010, 07:39:00 PM »
My daughter wants me to buy here a longbow. Could I get some suggestions on what would be a good choice. She tried to use one of my Bear Grizzly at 45# and it is to much bow for her. She gets it back about 3/4.
Thanks for any help.

I'll second Mike at Maddog.  Great guy to deal with; and he builds a fantastic product.  My boys each got one for Christmas.

I bought my kid a saxon wolverine. It shot great. Smooth and no hand shock. It was kind of pricey but when she grows out of it, you can get close to what you paid for it. The one we had went through two kids. They took great care of it, and I sold it for not much less than I paid for it.

I can second the Black Rhino bows.  Great Northern makes a nice light draw bow, too.
