Does anyone know where to purchase 275gr screw in practice tips?....I have set up a 275gr broadhead set up and wanted to go with a practice tip. They go from 250gr to 300gr. I looked on KK and 3rivers.. no luck....

Just use a bench grinder and take a little at a time till you get the amount off and then your good.Oh from what I found out through shooten,a flat blunt tip will pull out easier from a deer target.

you could try 100gr adapter + 50gr woodscrew adapter (3rivers) + 125gr point
or
125gr adapter + 50gr woodscrew adapter + 100gr point.

275gr on the button.

if you go with the grinding option chuck the point in a drill then grind. works like a little lathe.

No one makes a 275g pt as of yet. I stock all the others and would these if they made them.

easy to build almost any screw-in arrow point weight, i do it all the time.

for a 275gr point weight - 125gr adapter + 145gr or 160gr field point will be close enuf for ya.

What Rob said.  Its a lot cheaper to keep a bunch of weights on hand with the steel adapters and 11/32 glue ons.

I also build my odd weight heads using steel adapters and glue on heads. You can also fine tune the weight by adding one or two lead shot ahead of the steel adapter.#6 shot weighs app. 2 grains per pellet.

I recently made up a batch and found that the glue, between adaptor and point, added an average of 4 grains per head.125 gr adaptor + 145 gr point + 4 grs glue= 174 grs.

Since you are shooting the 2219's, you should have very good results building your points with steel broadhead adapters and 11/32" glue on points as suggested above.

you can also take an arrow insert and chuck it in a drill press and then screw in the 300grn point and using a file take off as much or little as you need.
