Im a ground hunter too.
This is a age old delimma for us ground pounders.
Ive used 3 legged stools, 4 legged stools, bucket seats and camp chairs.
Nothing has been comfortable for long periods.
But for me Im not sure anything would, I had back surgery 20 years ago and have not been the same..Im also old.
I have looked at these but cant justify the $200 price and they are heavy IMO.
However if you like em, you like em.
If I was going to spend that much Id get the Magnus Pack chair.
Ive set in in and really like it.
For now though I will use by (.99 stool from G Mountain.
Its light and easy to carry.
But it does hurt after 3 hours.

I bought one a few weeks ago and I really fought with the fact that it was a $200 chair but after getting it set it up I was impressed.  I put it next to one of the fold up stools that I used to sit on and there is no comparison.  I am glad that I bought it and I am looking forward to using it.

I bought the Waldrop Pacseat and consider it the greatest ground hunting seat ever!  But I can live with a tie between it and the Huntmore!

I know some folks think both of these seats are expensive but they are no more than you would pay for a quality tree stand.  If you're going to be serious about ground hunting, invest in quality products.  For less than $300 you can buy a Waldrop and a Bush-na-Bag that will have you hunting comfortably and covertly anywhere you want.

I love my Huntmore...and so does my daughter. I'll probably have to buy another one so that I can hunt out of one

Not the best hunting seat if you like to go light and mobile.  If you prefer to park your butt for the day it's great.  But I bought one, used it (tried to) one time and sold it.  Way too heavy and cumbersome.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

I'm sorry I know I missed it, but what is the meaning of TTT ?
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. TGMM ♥

I carry it in with me, and yes it's not the lightest, but it is the most comfy and silent swiveling 360 chair EVER. I actually toss a foam Primo's buttpad on the seat since I'm skinny in the behind area. I can sit without discomfort for MANY hours before I need to stretch. Another cool thing is the adjustable legs to accommodate uneven ground......probably my favorite feature.

Leave it in the field if I hunt that same spot the next day.

I've got a Waldrop PacSeat on the way. I just pack in to far for a Huntsmore, which I consider a great blind chair.

OK, I have had one for a couple of seasons and just wanted to add my 2 cents to this.

First, it is without a doubt the best chair I have ever used. Quality is great, no question about that. I have some nerve damage and it is difficult for me to sit on ANYTHING so it is a big complement when I say I can sit in the huntmore.

But...it is heavy and somewhat of a pain to pack and unpack...and I have used it a lot so I know how to do it.

Like a lot of equipment it has its place, when I know the exact spot (blind) I am going and it is not a long walk and I have no plans to move around the Huntmore will most likely be with me. But I do not always take it, I still use Dean's tree seat sometimes (with a cushion).

The Huntmore is not for everyone, but it is a quality product.

I purchased one when they fist come out and my original thoughts were right about it for me. It is way over designed.  Yes it is comfortable and it does turn.  Its swivel ability and quality is what sets it apart from other chairs.  Having said that the draw backs are one it does not pack well and at 10 pounds it is just slightly lighter than my Double blind. When you realize that I am carrying a blind, the chair, decoy, ect it becomes a problem, Second I can set my Double blind up way faster that I can set the chair up.

I believe that I have tried about every chair out there and there is still a need for a good swivel chair in the 5 pound range that packs well.  Let me say there is a big difference between 5 and 10 pounds when carrying it especially with other things.

To me it's like a tree stand. Nobody likes carrying those around either but once you have found your spot it's hard to beat a quality tree stand. When hunting the ground I'm looking for those good pinch points and often the tree isn't there so I place my chair where a natural blind might exist or can be constructed. So I'm not necessarily wondering around the woods looking to plunk it down anywhere, there is a plan to it as there is with a tree stand. It adds to the flexibility for a good stand location.
