A "different" kind of sharp by KME
« on: March 24, 2010, 08:25:00 AM »
I recently purchased a knive sharpner from Ron at KME. I have other knife sharpners but nothing compares to this sharpner! Ron spent about 30 minutes with me on the phone walking me through the process of sharpning my Grizzleys after my first attempt got my Grizzley "sharp", but not what I call "Ron sharp". After the tutorial over the phone this thing was so sharp it felt dull!!
I ran it on my arm and all the hair came off in a blink of an eye! I have never felt an edge like that.

My hats off to Ron for such a quality product. Hopefully I can remember what I learned yesterday and do it again

Its really a fantastic sharpner. There has been alot of great stuff on here about KME, and the comments are ALL true. Really a great product. I thought Ron deserves an ATTA BOY ounce again.

Been using the KME for a while now and have seen a dramatic improvement in the quality of the edge on my broadheads. I can do it the old school way with file and stone alone, but the KME has given me speed and consistency that I was lacking. Great product. Great people.

Ron is a great guy besides

Simply an ideal businessman, rate his sharpeners as some of my best purchases ever.

Ron's the man - especially for guys that shouldn't be allowed to purchase stones for fear of turning a perfectly dull knife into a section of rebar.  (like me!)   :D

I bought the standard KME system (along with a course diamond stone) at Denton Hill last year.   The system and the folks who operated the KME booth... well, simply great!  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this system to anyone.
