I got to say that I really feel like I missed out on something really good. I was going to go to see what it was all about, but I had something come up for Friday. I really hope to be there for 2012.

Boy some people would by anything at the auction. Dale bought this Bobbles of the Bow figurine set. I think Mark Wang made the Gene and Barry bobble heads. We had a few laughs on these guys and many more to follow I'm sure.

Speaking of people buying anything. Look what my wife bought. Lots of laughs on this one as well.

Here is the girl that made my day. She fell in love with the bow I made and dad (hogdancer) bought it for her. She couldn't wait to shoot it.

Hey Barry, what do you say for making a "30 years later" of the same poster/pose?!  I think I noticed 1980 on the other one.

Barry, you bet Emily is tall. Right there she was the tallest person in the room.

After a 16 hour motorcycle ride home through the pouring, cold rain I am almost back to normal.  This was my first PBS gathering and it was impressive. I feel privileged to have attended. The PBS commitment to ethical hunting is something that everyone should be exposed to and takes on as part of their own ethics.   Cliff's talk on the Thompson brothers was especially interesting to me with my interest in History. Nathan's sheep hunting presentation was totally enthralling.  Don's banquet talk was spot on and something everyone should hear.  (One of my table mates asked me if I had supplied Don with his talking points because we had been discussing it prior to his speaking.) And by the way, I am now the possessor of a new 3piece takedown Foley longbow that is a real dream to shoot and will be easier to carry on the MC. (Anyone ever buy a bow because it is a dog and you can't stand it?)

Thanks to all who made the effort to attend the PBS Banquet.  While it is our major fundraising activity, the main focus is the fraternal aspect of PBS and the new friendships made and old friendships renewed, all between hardcore, ethical bowhunters. That is what PBS is all about.
