A Lighthearted Turkey Hunting Question...
« on: April 27, 2007, 07:53:00 PM »
This will be my first real serious attempt at turkey hunting this year.

As I was grocery shopping with my wife tonight, and planning on what to take to the woods for snacks and lunches, I had a moment, and then a thought....  Is it bad karma to eat a turkey sandwich while hunting for turkeys?  I asked my wife, and she just kinda gave me a look!  You all know the look!!!!   So, I thought I'd ask some of the turkey experts here.

Just in case, I bought the bologna!  I really do need to get out!!

Good luck, all!

It's a rule in my group that you've got to pick up some pork rinds on the way to a hog hunt.  I say "turkey up", my friend!

Just dab the sliced turkey meat with a little red and blue food coloring before you make your sandwich... make sure a lot hangs over the side.  When you're ready for lunch, do a little yelping, hold your sandwich up and wiggle it... enjoy your lunch and the action!

Well... it could work!
