has anyone used the fletching tool that fred eichler advertises on easton bowhunting tv? they look pretty slick. i have thought about trying one , they seem fast and i usually shoot straight helical or slight helical on my blitz. are they adjustable or is it straight or helical only?

Mine work pretty well. You have to buy seperate jigs for which ever offset you prefer. They also make them for carbon and aluminum arrows.

I have two EZ fletches, one straight offset for carbons, and one right helical for aluminums. The slots are a little too narrow for feathers imho, though mine are a little older. Liked mine for vanes, just not for feathers. They are fast, but I have had trouble with bottom of feather sliding to side. I prefer a Bitzenburger for feathers.

I've used a EZ fletch for twenty years. Never any issues.
Buy either right or left helical and match your "wing" choice to it..

Considering that you already have a Blitzingburgler there shouldn't be a need for Anything else unless you have spelling issues with your old one.
Oops! I see I misspelled BITZENBERGER. I should know there ain't no "L" in BITZENBERGER.

I've got two rt wing I've wanted to sell. I switched to a Jo Jan. They are for aluminum, but I have used them on FMJ's.

Whoever said the openings are too narrow for feathers was right. I had some a while back and filed out the slits so they worked better. I know the ability to fletch three at once sounds good, but really you get better results from a more standard fletching jig, which is adjustable. I am currently really liking the new BearPaw jig. Best I've used, better than the Bitz IMHO.....
