I've got a suggestion for anyone that sells broadheads... Offer a package deal of  3 broadheads, 3 small game heads, 3 stumping heads, and 3 practice points, all of which are the exact same weight.

That is all.

That's wayyyyy to good of an idea for anybody to do, but a good suggestion.  :knothead:

Not a bad idea, but if you know the weight you probably already had field points of the same weight for tuning purposes. If the same broadhead company could package a 3 pack(of the same broadhead) in different weights. That I would buy.

I would like to see larger package deals on broadheads in 6 packs or 12 packs.  I used to see better deals for larger purchases but they all seem to be getting seriously expensive now.  I would buy matching broadheads and small game packs, or broadheads and stumping sets that matched.  I am buying the different heads anyways.  If nothing else they could cut the cost of the extra packaging off to give us a little better deal.

I would like to see more broadheads that came in different weights but of the same design. It seems that if you want to use a broadhead Like a Zwickey Delta, but can only shoot 125 gr. you gotta go down to an Eskimo if you don't want to change your current arrow set up.

I'm just using those two as a reference.

Good idea, Looper.  As soon as we get our broadheads to market we will give that suggestion some serious thought.  Thanks!

Its funny how things cycle and the "old" becomes "new".....

Back in the early '80's when we were making Snuffers Dad had field points specially made at 195 grains to duplicate the weight of a Snuffer with a screw in adaptor...these things were freakin' expensive and we lost money selling them.  Then he talked with several world class target archers that also bowhunted, and every one of them told him that they used field points that were lighter than their broadheads because the broadheads hit higher than field points of the same weight due to the aerodynamics involved.  Testing with a shooting machine showed that 160 gr field points matched the 195 grain Snuffers in flight/drop - and those were stock items.....

The whole idea is kinda funny to me with most guys griping about the cost of 6 heads< if you turn a $20 package into a $40 package, I'd bet you wouldn't sell many........

with carbons and alums, the ability to accurately match the weight of broadheads, field points, blunts and judos has long been available.

you do that easily first by varying the adapter and point weights.

nope, no thanx - i don't need need any special combo broadhead/point package.

How about a one pack     This way every time I shoot a rock I can just go replace that broadhead!

Then again they should sell an arrow broadhead combo because if I shoot a rock then not only will I have rock soup and a bend BH but also a broken shaft.   :smileystooges:

Discounts for larger packages........

The work involved and material cost per item, remain unchanged for the maker.

If you can afford to buy in bulk....you can afford to buy a smaller package and not devalue the labors of the maker.

This sort of thinking sends hard working people broke.

Heck, that's nothing. Could you imagine a 12-pack of those $30/each broadheads?
