Muzzy Phantoms

Anyone shooting muzzy phantoms?  I am kinda thinking about the 220g stainless steel phantom for elk.  I bought a pack of 125g to try on turkeys, they seem sharp (they shave, maybe need just a slight touch up).  I am thinking that the ferrule running up almost all the way to the point would keep the tip from folding over on bone hits?  What do you think?

I have used phantom 125 with good results on deer and hogs. Never have shot the 220's but I don't think you would be disappointed. Just shoot around those bones. LOL

With my form and focus, I usually hit a few rocks and maybe a tree before I get to any meat.  I like a broadhead that I can pull out of the mud and shoot again.  I have had an empty quiver more than once. LOL

I have also used the 125, they have held up well and are pretty sharp out of the package. I have some 220's but havent tried them yet

I use the 220'S minus the bleeder and love the head. strong durable and resharbens nicely

I use both but lean heavily towards the 220's (no pun intended)
Flies true, resharpens easy.
The bleeders are a little tricky until you get the hang of it. Then it's fairly easy. I have resharpened them too using the muzzy tool.

It's a well made head. I like em. I switched all my heads out to phantoms last year.

I use the 220's without the bleeders, and the 125's with 100 gr. inserts.  Well made bh's

I love 'em. I have shot 10 deer with them the last 2 years including a bad shot through the shoulder of a doe. The arrow broke but the head got sharp again quick and passed through a couple more deer later in the year. I too shoot 'em as a 2 blade.

Wicked and tough head.  220's get my vote also.  They seem very sharp from the box, however I rework all mine with a KME just to satisfy my inner compulsives.

I shoot 125's hog and deer hunting. Great head!
I do want to try a heavier head. My arrows are a little light.

220's are a great head. THis fall I shot a doe one night recovered the deer and resharpened the head, cleaned the arrow and the next night shot another doe. I have taken six deer & two turkeys in the last couple of years. easy to sharpen and fly true. I would have no problem using the Phantoms on Elk.

The 220 is a great head...very sharp, flies true, and penetrates super.

i use the strong 220 with the bleeder, easy to sharp, great hole and bloodtrail
