Great experiment with Bullhead.

As a rookie, I have been working on tuning my bow and thought I had it with 125 gr heads. Well this weekend, I put a 100 gr Bullhead on to try it out and it flew like a dart. It was great, I was cutting the turkey picture in half at 20 yards. After work, I am getting an extra tag and will be hunting with the recurve. I guess I will be using 100 grain heads with this set up.

I took a large tom 2 years ago with a 100 gr bullhead out of my saphirehawk longbow. Great head that worked flawlessly and is now the only thing I shoot at turkeys. Good luck.

Yep, a buddy of mine has used them for a few years now. Its hit or miss and if you happen to hit one in the body they just bounce off, after a hair cut of course. A turkey's head and neck are the same size as it's internal kill zone.

I am just happy that the big head flew so well out of my bow. I guess that means I am close to tuned, correct?
