How well do the old bear "green" takedown recurves preform?

I would guess, it depends on what LIMBS you put on the green-stripe-riser!
Was this the question?
I've shot and own red tips and green tips and I've tested the very new black+white tips but all on a brown-stipe risers :D
Difficult over all question and I am not competent to answer every respect of it as there are three lenght available and I only have #2 and #3's. But the new limbs will outperform the older. What I've seen, they appear to have less mass for a given draw weight. You can use FF with them which adds to performance as well. I prefer my red tips and Dacron though.

'92, I find the early green stripe riser a nice comfortable fit for me. For limbs, I like to stick to Grayling, especially the white tips. I have both. I find the Gainesville a little more harsh upon release. Just my take. I use B50. Tried the ff limbs. As long as I can find Graylings in good condition, so be it...Shick
