Did you know that Miss Kim actually takes sides each year during the St. Jude’s Cookies war? JC said that she takes the side of everyone donating. Kim has been very pleased to see more female members/wives get involved in the fun. Last year we had all kinds of jams, jellies, cookies, brownies, you name it, anything thought to bring a dollar was posted. All of them, went for far more than anything would have gone for in a "normal" market. But in a market driven by the hearts and gentle souls of men and women who simply want to make a difference and have fun doing it, these types of donations revealed it's all about the kids.
That's about the way JC recollects it.
I wonder what a cookie will sell for this year. Hopefully a lot for the kids!!!
