Mudds" Mutt is here!
« on: April 24, 2010, 09:23:00 AM »
I want to say thank you to Mike of Maddog bows. He was very quick at getting me a Mutt bow. It's 69" and 44@28.

It shoots good and is taking me a little adjusting to figure out how Mudds' Mutt likes being held when shot. I think she likes a firm hand. I had to camo tape her up in order to get her into the turkey woods as the ash back is way too light colored to suit me for carrying in the woods. She's light as a feather and isn't any more difficult to get around in the woods than any of my other bows so her length doesn't seem to hinder me at all.

It may take me awhile to get some pictures up as almost all of my time right now is spent in the woods chasing longbeards.

God bless,Mudd

PS I would recommend Maddog bows to anyone. They are more than worth the cost which isn't much comparative to most other custom bows. I M H O

Here's a few pics of it. It's ambidextrous as well. This group was 2 shots right handed and one shot left handed just before I shipped it. I think the lower left arrow was the one shot left handed. (I'm not a lefty, I only shoot lefty when I make a lefty bow)

congratulations Mudd I just ordered a mutt from Mike a couple weeks ago, trying to wait patiently but it's hard as this is going to be my first BRAND NEW BOW  and a long bow to boot. If I can figure out how to post pics on this website I will, when it comes!!!

Thank you Mike for posting pictures for me.

I love having both shelves, now if I can master the left side it'll be the "cat's meow"!

I wonder what will happen if I put on two arrows at a time?...kinda like a double barreled shotgun!..lol

I couldn't agree more, Mike is a wonderful person to deal with! He was more than patient with me and all my questions. He listened to all my concerns and desires. He was very reassuring to talk  to with his self confidence.

I said it before and I'll say it again...I would recommend Maddog bows and Mike to anyone.
He builds a nice bow for not a lot of money.

God bless,Mudd

I tried to do the shotgun thing with it before I shipped it but I couldn't get the arrows to stay on the shelves.

Mudd, a double shelf. Now you've got me curious. I love those doubles. I'm going to have to see larger pics of the riser.

Bowferd, I'll try to get some close ups soon.

Mike, I am truly a Missouri guy so I'll have to "Show-Me!" on the shotgun thing if it ever quits raining here. I've dumped 4 and half inches and just before that it was an inch and a half. It's still raining plus they are calling for more rain thru Tuesday.

I've already said "Uncle!" not that it seems to matter..lol
