Anyone know if these vendors will be at Compton or any other upcoming events. I would like to shoot their forward handle takedown longbows.

Additionally, how do they shoot and can some of you guys post up pics?

Every time I think I found the "perfect" bow, it seems I find one that fits just a little bit better.  :knothead:

I shot a home crafted forward handle bow at a local shoot and loved it. The guy just doesn't make them for other people right now.

i own a whisperstic and an older one-piece hybrid black swan.  The grip didn't work for me on the take down black swan, but was one of the fastest bows i've ever shot.  The whisperstic is fast and smooth also.
i don't think you can go wrong with any of those bows, and you are doing the right thing by trying to shoot all of them before deciding. It sounds like you have the same affliction most of us have so you will probably end up owning all of them at some point in time!   :)

I doubt Black Creek will be at Compton but they will be at the TN Classic this weekend in Clarksville.

Hill country TD's are some great shooters!I've owned the wildcat TD LB and shot Roman's TD recurve.Loved them both,I'm just not a LB guy.

Black Swans are smooth and fast,if you're into metal risers.I've shot plenty of them.
