bamboo shaft/ obsidian supplier?
« on: April 25, 2010, 11:27:00 PM »
I'm looking for a reliable bamboo shaft supplier, and a supplier for obsidian/flint for knapping.
Can anyone give me some good leads to contact?

I'm looking to buy bamboo in lots of 100 shafts (not 1000-10,000) and would prefer shafts which will handle 50-90# draw weights.
Any help will be appreciated!

Thanks

There's a guy in China on fleabay that sells spined shafts in lots of 100 (and more).  The batch I got was VERY good and ready seal and fletch.  I'll shoot you a PM with the seller's info...

Harold, go to Paleo Planet.  You will find several flint and obsidian sellers there. It's a great web site for anything paleo but especially flint knapping.
