I live in Maysville, Ky Northeastern part of the state. I was wondering if anyone was close that could help me get into making wood bows, I already have some that are floor tillered, driving to your place is no problem.
Thanks Tony

Tony if you can't find anyone close to help you get a copy of The Bent Stick by Paul Comstock. It is less than twenty bucks and is very easy to understand you can do it yourself.

You might also check out the forums on Primitive Archer. A lot of the selfbow/primitive guys from here are over there too. Nice folks with lots of knowledge and experiance.

I spend most of my time on the bowyers bench right here.
Another good book is Dean Torges' book hunting the osage bow and the traditional bowyers bibles vols 1-4
The guys here are awsome and have me a bunch.
