snakeskins effect on draw weight?
« on: April 28, 2010, 09:00:00 PM »
i have a 51# BW TFII and i am pulling it at 28" and was considering putting snakeskins on it. will snakeskins slow down your bow or ,i guess it would be slowing your arrow essentially?? if so, how much would i be pulling if it did effect my draw weight. thanks in advance   grayhunter

I put a set of skins on my ACS. I lost 1 fps, and saw no gain in draw weight.

That's what I was told too-1 fps if it is done properly and with thin skins.

I'm surprised 1 fps (~0.5%) is even a measureable quantity when you consider release variables.

I wonder how 1 fps compares to string silencers.
