brace height

g'day all

i have a samick phantom recurve i have been playing with the brace height today trying to get the bow singing but have not succeded as yet.the manufacturers recommended brace is beteween 8.25 to 8.75 inches have worked my way through that range and it is still noisy anyone got any ideas how i could get this bow shooting silent

Hi Mick,
Saw this post on TBGA as well.
8.25 to 8.75 seems pretty high, - my Martin and Schafer seem to shoot nicely @ 7.75.
Have you tried a lower brace height?

i have mate but not played with it to much but might have to.... dropped it down to 7 iches from memory and on release the arrow was hitting the riser so i put it back up
