I was at a bluegrass festival in Townsend TN yesterday. While walking around the venders I saw one that had a bunch of wood bowls, salt and pepper grinders etc.  All of the woods used were beautifull. Most were domestic with a lot of highly figured walnut, cherry, and maple. All of these would make a nice looking limb and I have seen them on bows. What caught my eye was a bowl made from a highly figured piece of magnolia. I have never seen a bow made with magnolia. Has anyone seen magnolia in a bow?  It sure would look nice with a dark riser.
It's not the arrival, it's the journey.

I sure would like to see a bow with magnolia limbs.

Talk to Don Stokes he made tons of shafts out of Magnolia.

difference in the world, but the Marines don't have that problem.
