ST. JUDES -- Did you know . . . (Fact 31)

Did you know that a major change occurred at St. Jude in the mid-1970s. Staff members moved away from an emphasis on how to best deal with death and dying. They chose instead to focus on finding the best means of promoting life and quality living through “hope.”

Before you started these "facts" Larry, i had never visited St. Judes website. Now i do daily 'cause you give us a little tidbit of information that makes me want to find out more. There is a neat quote in one of their publications that says "The nice thing about hope is that you can give it to someone else, someone who needs it even more than you do, & you will find you have not given yours away at all." What a powerful little statement!
Thanks for the facts Larry!
