No preference point system in place.  If there was, most of us would be at the top of the list by now.

Yes, that's the plan as of now. I'd like to go selfbow, wooden arrows, and flint tips. The only issue will be the selfbow being my first bow making attempt. But I will have a backup bow that I will be shooting throughout in case I can't get one made that will do the job. I've got from mid.Oct.-mid.Jan. to fill this tag so time is on my side. Another thing I have going for me is the fact that I've been guiding elk hunters here since 2003.

I kind figured that was you....but screennames get pinched all the time.  I don't visit the KY site much anymore...Congrats again and wishin you the best!

That is awesome, please take us along with photographs. From making your gear to the hero shot, pictures tell a thousand words.

And remember there is no such thing as good or bad luck. Luck is the point in time where preparation meets opportunity. Wow that was heavy, I need to sit down.    :rolleyes:
