Author Topic: ? Grizzly Stick glue on nocks - anybody ever cut glue on end off so reg nocks fit??  (Read 138 times)

Just wondering if anybodys ever tried cutting off the glue on nock end so reg nock will insert. These are Sitka shafts I'm talking about.

I use sitkas and they came from ABS with your regular carbon type knocks, the ones that are tunable but I was using different colors than yellow and white for my knocks so I use the glue on adaptor Ed told me there was about 2 inches of strait shaft on the knock end so you should be able to us ABS knocks if you would like to

I do..i cut down Alaskan and use a different push in nock than what they sell.I also use a Firenock and cut from nock end also..I cut 1 1/8" back is my magic spot. you will  not hurt anything
Aim down your arrow because thats where it's going.

The inserts pop out, too. Gotta use epoxy.
