New Robin Hoods bow

Been watching the BBC version of Robin Hood last few weeks.  I really like the way the bow the new Robin carries looks.  Anyone ever built one like this?  Looks like a Turkish or Mongol bow almost, I beleive they refer to it as a Saracen bow.
Either way, anyone every build one of these or know where I can get some information on building one.  Wanting to try something differant. Can these be built of all wood or wod and fiberglass without the use of horn?
