Sight for recurve?
« on: May 13, 2010, 01:14:00 PM »
Does anyone have an idea on where I can get a stick on sight, like the old Merrill Heart Shot, for a recurve. I don't want to drill holes and would like to try 3 pins. Give me opinions on what's BEST and where to look at them??

Dick:  I thought the Heart Shot was a screw on.  Anyway, I think I have one. It's fairly short.  3 1/2 inches long with a slight curvature on the back and three pins.  Either end has a half-inch thinner extension that is drilled out to accept a screw.  One of these is broken off.  That's why it's 3 1/2 inches long instead of 4. I think it would be fairly easy to mount this to your bow with double backed tape, and maybe over wrapping with other tape on the top and bottom.  It's yours if you want it.  Just send me your address.  Take care.
