i'd definitely hunt with one, provided it wasn't too heavy a draw weight. the silvertip is a proven hunting bow that was designed to take game.
however, bowfishing w/ an original schafer......

Hey Gene or Tater,
Those limb tips look different than my tips. Is there a difference with that bow?

I have a 62" and 55# that I bought about 20 years ago and after taking a lot of game with it I moved up in bow weight and hung it on the rack , tempted to sell it several times but didn't . Last year I was having trouble with my back and had to drop in weight so I took it back out and killed a bunkicker buck at Darren's place in Ill. on a St. Jude's hunt . I will be using it more often , great bow .
