Who made the filly bows?
«

My freind has found an old Filly bow it has no other markings as to manufacturer.
The only Marks on it are as follows
Filly
Bow
60"
On the side of the riser it says that it is
35'--28"
and has a serial number.
I know it is a 60" bow that draws 35 pounds at 28".
I would like to know if any one knows who the manufacturer is?
Thanks ahead of time.

Ben Pearson made a series of bows that were named after horses. Palomino, pinto, and filly were a few. The filly is a small semi-recurve. by small I mean for a young, small hand. The one I have is 60" long, 35#@28". Sounds like we have the same bow and it is a Ben Pearson. Hope this helps.

Thank you Moebow.
it's nice to know.
do you think a 12 strand B-50 string is to heavy for it?
