Here's my one and only animal taken with my selfbow. It is a warthog sow taken in South Africa. I used my Arvin Weaver selfbow (45@28), 45/50 wood arrow, and magnus 125gr broadhead.

I am now trying to find some cane arrows that I can fletch with real turkey feathers off a bird that I killed and a stone point to try to take an animal with.

Bisch, when they see that pic, you won't have any problem finding the cane shafts, turkey feathers or stone points you're looking for.
Pm me your address. Ain't sayin I'll supply your needs, but will send a surprise.

The problem with most selfbow shooters is that "Hero" shots are not always taken or important. Having said that when I hunt with others they like to take pictures so I mostly let them. But on my own rarly do. Here is one from TX, sorry about blood it was after dark at the skinning shed and I wasnt planning on a photo.
