I've got a pretty looking longbow made by "Lame bear" that I bought in Clare, Michigan years ago. Haven't shot it in years, but wondered if anyone knows much about these bows. Thanks

I dealt Lame Bear bows here in NY for 2 yrs. He then was dealing with a fellow here in Woodstock. Great guy...we shared his tent at a NYB Rendezvous back in '90.
Unfortunately....I believe he passed away. His longbows were smooth and shot well with his homemade flemish strings.

Joe,
He was still alive in November when he registered as a member here and responded in the link Focusource posted. Maybe he'll chime in again here as he did last time he died.
