Bow weight reduction?

If you wanted to get the draw weight reduced on a favorite bow(modern traditional wood/ glass limbs) who would you contact and why?

I'm starting to think that the market isn't so great right now for selling a bow so I'm going to start exploring a draw weight reduction for one of my favorites.

Information I would need is:

Who to use?
How much $ cost?
How much weight could I take off?

I think if you have a Howard Hill style you could just go narrower on the limbs, that could buy you up to 3# - 5# maybe.

i have heard some good things since he took over the bow hospital
usually a wt reduction is under 100.00
and 5# is pretty normal to take off  but depending on the design of the bow maybe as much as 10#

I have taken the weight down on a number of bows, some of my own and some for others.  There is a limit of course and those limits vary for different bows.  The spookiest one for me was when i ended up thinning the fiberglass to get all I could.  With a minimum of tools and a little practice it really is not all that difficult, but you cannot turn a 90 pound bow into a 60 pound bow.  It burned real nice though. I should have stripped off the glass reduced the core and then glued the glass back on.  I think it is easier than cutting out a good shooting osage, at least for me anyway.

Mudd, I've been in conversation with Whip at the Bow Hospital about removing a few pounds from a recurve I have. I think 10% reduction is about the max to be expected. Haven't done it yet, but am close to a decision. I also see Mike Mecredy at Maddog archery does this work. He's posted a few below yours - titled sent a couple of M.U.T.T.S. or somesuch.
