It's on a show called Maneaters on the Animal Planet channel.

They show about a 5 second clip and called the group "rafters" instead of hunters.         Get it right hippies!!!!!     :knothead:

I suppose the secret justice is knowing some PETA freak is watching it too, unaware our "rafters" are planning on bringing some rugs home.   :bigsmyl:

Too late dude, you've taken the bait!!! Spill the beans,LOL!

Alright, I admit this may have been a dumb post to start. My beef is that they were hunting and it wasn't mentioned.

No biggie, an observation that could have prolly been better off kept to myself.      I'm a stickler for stuff like that.

it seems nowadays you have to be politically correct so as not to offend anyone.  What people don't understand is we are the true conservationalist, wildlife supporters/contributors, and outdoorsmen.  The rest are mostly want to be's.

Sounds to me more like some people just need to grow a thicker skin.

Yeah yeah,I know that just because people say your paranoid,it doesn't mean that their not out to get you,,,,,,,,,,,LOL.
Winning or losing is not the important thing,,the important thing is how well you played the game.

I should say I used to be a wilderness raft guide...

Joshua, thinking being called a rafter, or hunter, are both good.

Where's Fred?  He should be able to give us firsthand experience on how the "rafting" trip went.....  :biglaugh:

It was a Brown Bear mother, I think if it had been a Grizzly mom someone in Fred's group would be dead... odds are the slowest swimmer/runner.

Is Fred really on Trad Gang?

Rafter...Hunter...hmmm... Here's how the line would have read by the Hippie Channel if I were in that boat: "The rafter/hunter/bowman crapped himself when a momma bear tried to eat the raft/bow/guide/motor."

Bet that bowhunter that saved his kid from being eaten or our well-traveled bowman is just glad they are being called anything...well almost   ;)
