just getting back into shooting been busy with school this last semester and want to chase some hogs this summer with my bow but realized i dont have any arrows left that arent broken and i would like to give carbon a try but dont have a clue on where to begin these arrows will be for a dryad orion td longbow 51@29 and i want to shoot heavy points so where should I start?

Ian,
Assuming from your collection of bows listed, I would think between 400 and 500 spine should work.
All depends on how much weight you are adding to the front.
Also assuming shafts will be a minimum of 30".

Ian,for me to set up a bow that weight,drawn to 29" and an actual 30" in length,I would need app. 225 grs of point weight on 5575's.I think 3555's would be too weak for the point weight you are thinking of.For my setups,at least,changing from one spine group to the next,requires a point weight difference well over 100 grs.I think the 3575's would probably need a point weight about half what you are considering.

Try something in a .400 spine, like 55/75s full length with 200 - 300grs up front.
