Yeah, I used to be on that forum, figured it best that I leave (trying to control my temper dontcha know). A few folks were pretty annoying, one really bad and I wasn't going to play nice anymore.
I'm running 460 gr GT55/75s......little shocky, but tolerable. Add 50 more to the front and it might be better. Spine seems a little stiff, even after mods the arrow sits out just a little more than I like. Might try a thinner shelf pad.
So you got the Sage.
Years ago I had a Huntmaster, sold by Hoyt. Similar dial purpose type of riser. PSE later sold that same bow (Blackhawk), then a 2" longer version. Samick still sells it, called the HST or something like it. The Sage looks to be like it, but of different riser wood/lam.
The old Hoyt/PSE was 58 and then 60".
Not sure what the Sage is tip to tip.
The Phantom is 62" and a bit longer than I like for treestand hunting (prefer 58").
As for limb alignment pins popping out, I'm not worried. I have Brownells Microbedding, Accraglass and of course..............JB Weld.
Speaking of JB Weld..........why doesn't somebody just run a sub down by that leaking oil well and plug it with some?
