Hmmmm.....I submitted a glass of beer but it was never "approved".  I make my own beer......and beer for you if you stop by.....

Leatherneck, I can never adequately repay you or others that have served our country.  I am forever in your debt.  Thank you and all with all my heart.

Don, you're a bit bent but I can see where you're coming from and I like it.

Don,
That is darn good work. Are you a sculptor or artist for a living, or is it something you do on the side?

Now that is funny right there!!!

Mine is of what I consider one of the coolest whitails I have ever taken - the only full velvet buck I have ever seen in deer season in Tx.

Computer crash has taken all my pictures.

My avatar is my son Sam and his 1st trad kill (his first of any sort for that matter) a few years ago at our family place in Riviera TX. A cottontail that he must have shot at 20 times combined from start to finish. Lots of misses but what a great day to be a Dad!

Lots of cool avatar pics and stories. Thanks for asking and thanks for sharing.

You can buy them, just google Robin Hood hats.

But they are so easy to make why bother. Just get yourself some suede leather and put one together. I don't even try to sew them now, I just use leather glue. There's only one line of glue, one piece of leather folded properly and a feather.

It's so simple even the merry men in tights from Sherwood forest could do it.

I don't have a big one of Bubba Smiley Piggy. Here's his cousin from the city.

I am from Arkansas and hence a big Razorback fan. When I first saw this picture it really made me smile so I adopted it. I use it on all the forums I am a member of. It just makes me happy.

This is one of the several dozen bucks I photographed last year on my antelope hunt. I actually stalked and missed this buck after the photo. I thought it was a decent photo, so put it as my avater, for now  :)
Great thread.
