Bowyer needs a hand with Compton Logistics
« on: June 03, 2010, 09:08:00 PM »
I'm coming out from the west coast to set up as a vendor for the first time at the Compton shoot and have not yet received word whether or not I'll have a spot in the main tent or not. I have my own booth set-up that I can ship back, but I would need some help from someone to be able to receive it and transport it to the shoot.  I am flying in Friday night (bought my plane ticket a while back before I found my predicament) and was just planning on setting up early Saturday morning.  I'd also need that person to be able to transport it back home(?) where I could have the freight company pick it up with a call tag. I would be happy to financially compensate for the trouble.  It will fit easily into the back of a compact pick up.  Any takers?

Glad to see you will be there! Wish I could help. I will be getting there Weds. after a long drive from Florida.(wedding). Have you tried contacting Fred and Teresa Asbell? Seems we have several members not far from Berrian Springs that might be able to help. Good Luck. Hope you have a 50# recurve to try out  :)

That is one more that I'm gonna add to my "shoot list". Absolutely beautiful bows, and I really like the look of the grips.

I'll be by your booth......wherever it ends up being.

I am 90% sure I will be leaving Fri. morning.  My wife and kids will be in South Carolina, so I will be driving alone and should have room.  I would be more than happy to help...let me know if you still need it.
Will they ship to a residential address?

I really like the looks of the Schleyer, and I like South's generous donation's to Bart's son's educational fund. I hope to cross paths with a Stalker bow someday.  Mike

I ship stuff to hotels before trips and having it waiting in my room when I get there all the time. Motel6 might not do that for you but higher end hotels will.

HOLY COW! I've had a bunch of people reach out to help me out, I want to thank you guys for all of the offers.  I think I've got I solid plan and have plenty of back-ups if it doesn't pan out.  I'm looking forward to seeing all of you there, stop by the booth, I'll have a dozen or so bows to test drive.
