Who hunts with rocks?
«
on:
June 12, 2010, 04:03:00 PM »
Hey everyone, I want to see some photos of critters that fell victims to some arras tipped with rocks, lol. Been thinking about it for some time now, and I think I want to try and get some rabbits this season with them. In MD we cant legally kill whitetails or bears with them, but everything else is fair game . . . so what have ya got . . . .???

Oh......kay.
Edited by me: Oh, I see what ya mean now. You're talking about knapped points, right?
Yes, I too would like to see some pics of these also.

I started knapping last year and made a head good enough to take a doe with this past season. It gave me the same feeling I had when I shot my first deer 40 years ago.
A knapper friend of mine told me that I was now a member of a club that has very few members.
Go for it you , won't regret it.

Madam; you look like you're ready for battle & you've got your first prey.
I'll one day learn to knap my own heads & give it a try, here in Virginia they are legal so I had better get on the ball before they decide to change that rule.

Let's see if I can remember how to do this.
Not points I made, but the thrill is still there. Good luck with your quest.
