do you guys get your strings to what the actual brace height is for the bow it is being made? Sometimes I get lucky and it is right there from the get go,but more often than not I am coming up short. I only roll B-50's, and even after a night on my stretching rack(bungee cords and dumbells)it was still to high. A little twisting the opposite way enabled me to string it up without gritting my teeth. It was coming in at 8 1/4" now and I am looking for 7 3/4" at least.
So...me being the patient guy I am grabbed 10 arrows and out to the bales I go. This is only a 12 strander and has no serving or nock point yet
so I had to shoot split to boot. Ten rounds x ten arrows = 100 shots which was my goal, came in and measured my brace height,7 7/8". I think after tying in some cat whiskers and serving it we will be right on the money.
