Chris,welcome thanks for sharing,but maybe you have to resize the pics.
Keith,the Ibex are not really afraid of the people also because they aren't really hunted hard because the restricted hunting permits.

Yes Keith, they are native here.When we took those pics,in May,they where still low in elevation but then they follow the snow line finishing very high above the timberline.They are incredible climbers more than the agile chamois.In the full winter they remain high in the steepy rocks where the snow can't stick on,and come down just in the spring for the first sprouts.

John,thanks.The Monte Rosa as some of the best ski free rides of europe and lots of lifts and track that connnect them to the Mattlehorn(Cervino for us)with some 100 Miles to ski with out taking off you skies.You'll love it.

cacciatore- yeah i know they are expensive and there is a very small chance of getting to 20 yards of them in their barren mountain homes but a man has to dream......
if i ever bought a lotto ticket i might win it. LOL
