Best flight I have seen
« on: May 06, 2007, 07:42:00 PM »
Just finished tuning a set of Easton axis 500 St's to my bow and I have to say WOW.Set up was 64" crusader 55@28 and arrows cut to 28 3/4" with the 100 grn insert and 145 grain heads with 3 5" shield cut feathers. Bareshafts great out to 25 yards and the best flight I have ever gotten from a shaft. No wobble no nothing just a nock zinging along toward the target. Just had to brag up these shafts a little ,really impressed with flight now will have to see how the durability goes

Yep, I shoot cheap Easton 500 in a similar weight bow, except using full length and 50 gr inserts and 145gr head, they fly straight without feathers.
Dan

by the way, never sorry I switched to 4x4" fletching, they fly great.
