Ben pearson Junior jet #331 string length???
« on: June 16, 2010, 10:44:00 PM »
Hello everyone!

Just came across a Ben Pearson Junior Jet recurve.
Cat no. 331.
Its a 48" recurve kids bow.
Anyone know what string length is needed for this?

Thank you!!

Yeah, Rabbit_buster is right.  Usually you can take the length of a longbow and subtract 3" and be close to proper string length and take the lenght of a recurve and subtract 4" for proper string length.  That is all relative to the bow length also. The shorter the bow, the less you subtract from bow lenght to get string length.
