ASAT Elite Ultimate vs. Predator Fleece
«

I've worn too many holes in my current camo and I'm looking at either of these garments. Any opinions from guys who've worn them? This isn't comparing the patterns themselves, both are proven, but rather fit, quietness, durability, etc. I'm looking for all-around hunting clothes to get a few miles out of.
Thanks,
Mike

Mike, I'm plannng a trip to Alaska and considering the same options along with sitka, so I am very interested to hear what experience has to say.

Alaska?! My dream destination. I considered Sitka also and would most likely choose that if they still carried it in ASAT. I know that camo is overrated but every once in awhile it sure comes in handy. Case in point: Standing in a bare aspen tree with no back cover and a dandy 10pt. at 12 yards and uphill at eye level this past november. I was wearing my 11 year old Predator Fall Brown from head to toe, he looked right through me and continued walking, allowing me to put an arrow in him. Would other camo have worked? Probably. But personally I'm sold on patterns like predator and ASAT for occasions just like that, especially because most of my hunting is from treestands.

I like the predator also. I wish I could find a mountianeering style camo in predator pattern. It's not for another year so maybe I'll find something.
