Does anyone have any pictures of a bow with either juniper or red cedar veneers?  Please post 'em.

Here are two shots of my "Out of the Closet", a Hill style I made from red cedar closet lining wood...

Nice looking bow, Svein.
I believe I'm liking the juniper more than the eastern red cedar.

Tom,

E.R. Cedar is a type of juniper and is often sold as generic juniper in the bulk lumber suppliers. Juniper is one of the most variable types of wood you can find.  Be sure and at least get pics of the lams you want for the bow.  It can be almost entirely white with just a little red, or vice versa.  It can have a huge amount of grain character or almost featureless red or white, just depends.
Blaze out your own trail.

Thanks, A.K..  Getting a picture of the lams sounds like great advice!
