Fiberglass Specs
« on: June 20, 2010, 07:18:00 PM »
Does anyone know the specs on the fiberglass used for bows?

I am looking for things such as weight, glass axis, epoxy used for pre pregging the glass.

I am curious because i have fiberglass for snowboard building and want to know if it is similar to what bow builders use.

Thats a good one.Make a snowboard and swap it for a bow...LOL You may want to ask Whip or ask this in the bowyer's forum.

I would definitely be willing to trade a board for a bow but probably wont be able to make any till late fall early winter. I was going to post this on the bowyer's bench but knew it would most likely have more traffic here but i will move it over.
