omg part 2
« on: June 21, 2010, 10:23:00 AM »
well got off the phone with the manufactor,,well what a wasted morning on the phone.they dont carry a lifetime warranty, they carry a 50 percent warranty on anything over a year old.the bow was 17mos.old..anyways heres the kicker they told me not to use a wood bow for bowfishing and you should use a metal riser bow, well not gonna happen..so heres the options go ahead and give them the money because of poor craftsmanship,or go ahead and make my own like i kinda want to do anyways  :knothead:
if we are not suppose to eat animals, then why are they made of meat

If you use real dry pignut hickory for a bowfishing bow or a goose hunting bow make sure that you have a real good finish on the bow, mine drank a lot and turned sluggish.  A year in the attic with no finish and a retiller got it shooting better than ever. The only problem with it is, that it shoots over 170 fps.  Even large carp don't slow the arrow down much.
