Can you help me with this Damon Howatt Hunter?

I am trying to help my friend get a string for his old Damon howatt Hunter Recurve Serial Number hh21406. Cant read the amo it either says 52 or 62. Does anyone know what the amo length is for this and what size string and brace height?

Most Hunters were 62"  58" string, most likely B50 12-15 strands depending on weight...

Some may say you can use modern string material and that's up to you....

DesertDude has the string length and material. I would start at a 7-1/2" brace and go up from there until it sings a sweet tune.
